Asset Manager - Technology Sector (3-5 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Asset Manager with 3-5 years of experience to join our technology division in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle management of IT assets, ensuring compliance, optimizing utilization, and managing procurement and disposal processes. This role requires a strong understanding of asset management principles and a background that can bring a unique perspective to technology asset oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive IT asset management policies and procedures.
- Track and manage the inventory of all hardware, software, and other technology assets throughout their lifecycle.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure asset accuracy, compliance with licensing agreements, and security standards.
- Manage procurement processes for new assets, including vendor selection, negotiation, and purchase order management.
- Oversee the disposal and retirement of assets, ensuring data security and environmental compliance.
- Analyze asset utilization data to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with IT, procurement, and finance departments to ensure effective asset management.
- Maintain accurate asset records in the IT Asset Management (ITAM) database.
- Support software license compliance and management.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting for IT asset-related expenditures.
