Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Audit Executive with 3-4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of audit principles and possess an LLB degree, bringing valuable legal and compliance insights to our audit processes within the pulp and paper industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
Review financial records, operational procedures, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations, particularly those pertaining to the paper industry and corporate governance.
Identify control weaknesses, non-compliance issues, and areas for operational improvement, providing practical recommendations.
Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans.
Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and assess their effectiveness.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements.
Assist in investigations of fraud or irregularities as required.
Stay updated on auditing standards, legal frameworks, and industry best practices.
