The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of audio recording techniques and experience working in an educational content creation environment. This role involves operating boom microphones to capture high-quality audio for our diverse range of learning materials, including video lectures, online courses, and promotional content. You will be responsible for ensuring clear, crisp, and professional audio output, contributing significantly to the overall quality of our educational offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, position, and operate boom microphones accurately to capture dialogue, sound effects, and ambient audio during video shoots and recording sessions.
- Collaborate closely with directors, videographers, and talent to achieve optimal audio quality and creative sound design.
- Monitor audio levels and signal integrity, making necessary adjustments to prevent distortion or noise.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audio equipment and recording processes.
- Manage and maintain audio equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Follow script and shot lists to anticipate audio needs and ensure seamless recording.
- Assist in post-production audio editing and mixing when required.
- Adhere to production schedules and deadlines, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
