Job Description

Role Summary:
Accenture is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Category Manager with 1-2 years of experience and an MCA degree to join our Clinical Research / Contract Research team in Lucknow. This role involves managing key categories within our clinical research operations, ensuring strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost optimization. You will play a crucial part in supporting the efficient delivery of clinical research services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of category strategies for clinical research services and related indirect spend.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate market trends.
- Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Assist in the procurement process, including RFI/RFP development, bid analysis, and supplier selection.
- Track and report on key category metrics, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and risk.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure category strategies align with business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and contracts.
- Support the implementation of procurement best practices and policies.
