Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Category Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in managing procurement categories, supplier relationships, and market analysis, contributing to the overall efficiency of our supply chain operations in Pune.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and implementation of category strategies for assigned procurement areas within the Oil & Gas sector.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate market trends, and assess pricing.
Support the negotiation process for contracts and purchase orders, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
Monitor supplier performance and adherence to contractual obligations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide timely support.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, supplier information, and contract details.
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations on category performance and market insights.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.
Support the identification of cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements within procurement processes.
Leverage B.Pharma knowledge for understanding of specific chemical or material requirements where applicable.
