We are seeking an experienced Commodity Dealer to join our growing team in Guwahati. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commodity markets, particularly in spices, and a proven track record in trading and negotiation. This role involves managing our spice commodity portfolio, identifying market opportunities, and executing trades to maximize profitability. You will be instrumental in enhancing our import and export operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze commodity market trends, price fluctuations, and news impacting the spice market.
- Identify and evaluate trading opportunities in both domestic and international markets.
- Execute trades (buy and sell orders) for various spices, ensuring compliance with company policies and market regulations.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, buyers, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and implement trading strategies to achieve profitability targets.
- Conduct market research and provide insights to the management team.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of all trading activities.
- Collaborate with logistics and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
