Job Description

Role Summary: The Corporate Development Analyst will support the strategic growth initiatives of VA Tech Wabag Limited, focusing on identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, potential partnerships, and merger & acquisition targets within the water and wastewater management sector in India. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a B.Pharma background looking to transition into a corporate strategy and development function.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential growth areas in the water treatment and waste management industry.
- Assist in the financial modeling and valuation of potential investment opportunities, including M&A targets and strategic alliances.
- Support the due diligence process for potential transactions, including data collection, analysis, and report preparation.
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior management on strategic initiatives, market assessments, and investment proposals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., business development, finance, legal) to gather information and support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor industry developments and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of the company's long-term strategic roadmap.
