Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data / Big Data Testing Engineer with 3-4 years of experience to join our growing team in Thiruvananthapuram. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data quality, data pipeline testing, and big data technologies. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity and reliability of our data systems, supporting critical business decisions within the pulp and paper industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for data pipelines, ETL processes, and big data applications.

Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of data across various sources and systems.

Test data warehousing solutions, data lakes, and reporting tools for functionality, performance, and scalability.

Identify, analyze, and document defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve them.

Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure testing aligns with business objectives.

Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for data quality and data pipeline testing.
