Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Demand Planner to join our team in Vishakhapatnam. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a B.A. degree and 1-3 years of experience in demand forecasting, planning, or a related analytical field within the chemical industry. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient supply of our products by accurately forecasting demand and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for assigned product lines using historical data, market intelligence, and statistical models.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to understand market dynamics, promotional activities, and new product introductions that may impact demand.
Analyze forecast variances and identify root causes, implementing corrective actions to improve forecast accuracy.
Support the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process by providing timely and accurate demand insights.
Monitor inventory levels and work with supply chain teams to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
Prepare reports and presentations on demand forecasts, performance metrics, and key insights for management review.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the demand planning function.
