Demand Planner - Vadodara (3-4 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and analytical Demand Planner with 3-4 years of experience to join our team in Vadodara. The ideal candidate will be responsible for forecasting product demand, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring timely supply to meet customer needs within the Iron & Steel industry. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient supply chain operations and supporting business growth. This position does not require a formal graduation degree but emphasizes practical experience and analytical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for various steel products using historical data, market intelligence, and sales input.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to understand demand drivers and align forecasts with business objectives.
- Monitor inventory levels and work towards optimizing them to minimize stockouts and reduce carrying costs.
- Analyze sales trends, identify deviations from forecasts, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare regular reports on demand forecasts, inventory status, and supply chain performance.
- Support the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process by providing accurate demand inputs.
- Identify potential supply chain risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Utilize forecasting tools and software to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Work closely with logistics and procurement to ensure smooth material flow and product delivery.
