Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Laboratory Technician with a Master of Design (M.Des) degree to join our innovative team. This role is crucial for designing and creating specialized dental prosthetics and prosthodontic devices used in film and entertainment productions. You will work closely with prosthetics designers and special effects artists to bring characters and visual concepts to life. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a strong design background and an interest in the unique applications of dental technology in media.

Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate custom dental prosthetics, props, and other oral devices based on artistic and technical specifications for film and television.
- Utilize M.Des principles and techniques in material selection, sculpting, molding, and finishing processes.
- Collaborate with prosthetics supervisors, art directors, and special effects teams to ensure accuracy and aesthetic appeal.
- Maintain and operate laboratory equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct research into new materials and techniques relevant to special effects prosthetics.
- Assist in the fitting and application of dental prosthetics on set, ensuring comfort and realism.
- Manage inventory of materials and supplies for the dental laboratory.
- Troubleshoot design and fabrication challenges to meet production deadlines.
