Dock Master - B.Sc Professionals (1-3 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and organized Dock Master with 1-3 years of experience, holding a B.Sc degree, to manage and oversee all inbound and outbound logistics operations at our Kolkata facility. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient and safe handling of all materials and products, maintaining accurate records and coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth flow of goods and ensuring supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the loading and unloading of trucks and other transport vehicles.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and reconciliation of goods received and dispatched.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the dock area.
- Monitor and manage the flow of traffic in and around the dock facility.
- Prepare and maintain daily logs, reports, and documentation related to dock operations.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff, transport providers, and other departments to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations and company policies within the dock area.
- Assist in optimizing dock operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
