Dredging Superintendent - Metals & Mining Sector

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dredging Superintendent with 1-3 years of experience and an M.Com degree to join our growing team in the Metals & Mining sector. The ideal candidate will support the efficient and safe operation of dredging activities, contributing to the extraction and transportation of mineral resources. This role requires a strong understanding of financial and operational aspects related to large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the planning, execution, and supervision of dredging operations to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Monitor and report on the operational efficiency and performance of dredging equipment and personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental policies, and operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of dredging activities, including material volumes, operational hours, and equipment maintenance.
- Support the financial management of dredging projects, including budget tracking, cost analysis, and invoice verification, leveraging M.Com knowledge.
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, engineering, finance) and external stakeholders (suppliers, contractors) to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare regular progress reports and present findings to management.
- Identify and propose solutions for operational challenges and inefficiencies.
- Participate in risk assessments and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies.
