Job Description

We are seeking a motivated EDA Tools Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Lucknow. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and optimizing the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) toolchain used in our advanced manufacturing and process control systems within the Iron & Steel industry. This role requires a strong understanding of EDA tools and methodologies, coupled with a B.Tech/B.E. degree in a relevant engineering discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain EDA software tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics) used for IC design, verification, and physical design.

Develop and maintain scripts for automating EDA tool flows, improving efficiency and reducing manual intervention.

Provide technical support to design engineers, troubleshooting issues related to EDA tools and tool flows.

Evaluate and integrate new EDA tools and technologies to enhance design capabilities and productivity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and ensure EDA toolchain meets project needs.

Monitor tool performance and license usage, optimizing where necessary.

Document EDA tool configurations, workflows, and best practices.
