The Orchid Hotel, Mumbai, is seeking a motivated Environmental Engineer with 1-2 years of experience and an M.Sc. degree to join our team in Bangalore. This role will focus on implementing and monitoring environmental sustainability initiatives within our hotel operations, contributing to our commitment to eco-friendly hospitality. You will play a key part in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and driving continuous improvement in our green practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct environmental impact assessments for new projects and operational changes.
Monitor and analyze environmental performance data (energy consumption, water usage, waste generation).
Develop and implement strategies for waste reduction, recycling, and resource conservation.
Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental laws, regulations, and company policies.
Assist in developing and delivering environmental training programs for staff.
Prepare regular environmental reports for management and regulatory bodies.
Identify opportunities for improving energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
