Executive Chef - Consumer Electronics & Appliances (Chennai)

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Executive Chef with 3-4 years of experience and a B.Com degree to manage culinary operations within our consumer electronics and appliances division in Chennai. This role is crucial for supporting our employee welfare initiatives and corporate events through efficient and high-quality food services. The ideal candidate will leverage their business acumen to manage budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships effectively, ensuring operational excellence and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation for cafeteria services and corporate events.

Develop and manage menus, ensuring variety, nutritional balance, and adherence to budget.

Manage food inventory, procurement, and stock control to minimize waste and ensure cost-effectiveness.

Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with local regulations.

Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Manage kitchen budgets, track expenses, and prepare financial reports.

Liaise with vendors for procurement of ingredients and supplies, negotiating terms and prices.

Ensure all culinary activities align with company policies and objectives.
