Fitter / Turner (1-3 Yrs Experience)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and skilled Fitter/Turner with 1-3 years of experience to join our team in Surat. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing mechanical components and equipment used in our operational infrastructure. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of mechanical principles, with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings to understand project requirements.
- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to shape metal parts accurately.
- Fabricate, assemble, and install mechanical systems and components according to specifications.
- Perform precision fitting and assembly of parts, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Inspect finished products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, implementing effective solutions.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure project success.
- Document work performed and maintain records as required.
