Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Cinematographer with a Doctorate/PhD to join our dynamic team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced theoretical knowledge and practical experience to create compelling visual narratives that capture the essence of our operations in the Iron & Steel industry. This role demands a unique blend of artistic vision, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of visual storytelling, particularly in industrial and corporate contexts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute high-quality video content for various internal and external communication needs, including corporate branding, training modules, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, R&D, and operations teams to understand project objectives and translate them into visually engaging narratives.
- Operate and maintain professional camera equipment, lighting, and sound gear to achieve desired aesthetic and technical standards.
- Apply advanced understanding of visual composition, color theory, and lighting techniques to enhance storytelling.
- Direct and manage camera crews and talent during shoots, ensuring a cohesive and efficient production process.
- Edit and post-produce video footage, incorporating graphics, music, and sound effects to create polished final products.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technological advancements in cinematography and video production.
- Conduct research and analysis related to visual communication strategies within the industrial sector, drawing upon PhD-level insights.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
