Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Marine / Maritime Pilot to join our growing team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent M.Pharma graduates looking to apply their scientific knowledge in a clinical research setting. You will assist in the safe and efficient navigation and oversight of maritime clinical trial activities, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior pilots in planning and executing maritime clinical trial voyages.
- Monitor vessel operations and environmental conditions relevant to trial integrity.
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all maritime activities.
- Support data collection and integrity checks during trials at sea.
- Conduct basic risk assessments for maritime trial operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and vessel crew.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of maritime operations and clinical research.
