Gastroenterologist Careers in Coimbatore

We are seeking a qualified Gastroenterologist with 3-4 years of experience to join our medical team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will possess an M.Pharma degree and a passion for providing comprehensive gastrointestinal care within a corporate healthcare setting, specifically supporting the health and well-being of our employees in the Oil & Gas industry. This role focuses on early diagnosis, treatment, and management of digestive system disorders, preventive care, and health education.

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders including ulcers, GERD, IBS, inflammatory bowel disease, liver diseases, and pancreatitis.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as upper endoscopy and colonoscopy (if applicable and within scope).
- Interpret diagnostic tests including stool tests, blood tests, and imaging studies related to the GI tract.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle recommendations.
- Provide patient education on preventive measures, dietary guidelines, and management of chronic GI conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with organizational policies.
- Participate in health awareness programs and contribute to the occupational health initiatives of the company.
