Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze general insurance policies, contracts, and claims documentation.
- Provide legal opinions and advice on matters related to general insurance products and services.
- Assist in the drafting, vetting, and negotiation of legal documents, agreements, and policy wordings.
- Conduct legal research on insurance-related laws, regulations, and case precedents.
- Support the legal team in litigation and dispute resolution processes, including preparing legal notices and filings.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Indian insurance laws, regulatory guidelines, and company policies.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and regulatory bodies as required.
- Identify and assess legal risks associated with insurance products and operations.
