Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated Geographic Information System / GIS professional with 2-3 years of experience and a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree to join our team in Vadodara. This role will be crucial in analyzing and visualizing spatial data to support various business functions within the insurance sector, including risk assessment, claims management, and market analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GIS principles and their application in a corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain GIS databases and spatial data layers relevant to insurance operations.
Perform spatial analysis to identify geographical patterns, risks, and opportunities for the business.
Create thematic maps, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and marketing teams to integrate GIS insights into their workflows.
