Head - Taxation (1-2 Yrs Experience)

Role Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Head - Taxation with 1-2 years of experience and an M.Des degree to join our finance team in Vishakhapatnam. This role will support the taxation department in ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations within the Indian agrochemical industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of taxation principles and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to evolving tax landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and filing of direct and indirect tax returns (GST, Income Tax, etc.).
Support in tax planning and advisory services for the company.
Conduct tax research and analysis to identify potential tax liabilities and savings opportunities.
Help in managing tax audits and assessments by tax authorities.
Maintain accurate tax records and documentation.
Collaborate with internal departments to gather information for tax compliance.
Stay updated with changes in tax laws and their implications on the business.
Assist in the reconciliation of tax entries in the accounting system.
Support the finance team in ad-hoc taxation-related projects.
