Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and analytical Inventory Controller with 3-5 years of experience and an M.Tech degree to join our dynamic team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in our supply chain operations within the KPO/Analytics domain. This role requires a strong understanding of inventory management principles, data analysis, and the ability to implement process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and physical inventories. Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.

Analyze inventory data, including stock turnover, lead times, and demand forecasts, to support procurement and production planning.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., procurement, operations, finance) to ensure smooth inventory flow and meet business objectives.

Manage the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations of the company's inventory.

Utilize inventory management software and other analytical tools to track inventory, generate reports, and identify trends.

Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards related to inventory management.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for inventory processes.
