Junior Collection Head

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Collection Head with 1-2 years of experience and an M.Des degree to join our dynamic team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of collection strategies, focusing on aesthetic appeal, market trends, and brand identity within the textile and apparel sector. This role requires a creative individual with a strong understanding of design principles and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in researching and identifying current and upcoming fashion trends relevant to the Indian market.
- Collaborate with design and merchandising teams to translate trend insights into collection concepts.
- Support the development of mood boards, color palettes, and fabric selections for new collections.
- Contribute to the creation of product assortments that align with brand positioning and target customer profiles.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for seasonal collection themes and narratives.
- Ensure that all collection elements are cohesive and commercially viable.
- Maintain a library of inspiration materials and competitive analysis reports.
- Assist in presenting collection plans and concepts to internal stakeholders.
