Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Demand Planner to join our growing team in Chandigarh. This role is crucial for ensuring optimal inventory levels and supporting our production and sales strategies within the dynamic textile and apparel sector. The ideal candidate will have a B.Com degree and 0-2 years of experience in a similar analytical role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of demand forecasts for various product lines.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to identify patterns and predict future demand.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to gather insights and refine forecasts.
- Monitor inventory levels and work to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Prepare regular reports on demand forecasts, inventory status, and key performance indicators.
- Support the implementation of demand planning tools and processes.
- Identify and communicate potential risks and opportunities related to demand.
