Junior Port & Maritime Operations - Other - Electronics Manufacturing

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated individual with a B.Pharma degree and 0-1 years of experience to join our Port & Maritime Operations team. This role will support the smooth and efficient movement of goods and materials through port and maritime channels, crucial for our electronics manufacturing supply chain. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and an understanding of logistical processes, with a willingness to learn and adapt within a dynamic corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating the import and export of raw materials, components, and finished goods via sea and airfreight.
- Monitor shipping schedules and ensure timely delivery of consignments to and from manufacturing facilities.
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to resolve any logistical challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of all maritime and port-related documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
- Support the implementation of standard operating procedures for port and maritime logistics.
- Conduct basic research on regulatory requirements and compliance related to international trade and shipping.
- Utilize B.Pharma knowledge for understanding and handling of any specialized chemical or material logistics if applicable, ensuring compliance with safety and handling protocols.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including procurement, production, and warehousing, to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
