Role Summary: V-Guard Industries Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Officer to join our team in Kochi. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate with a B.Sc degree looking to gain practical experience in corporate law within the import & export sector. The Legal Officer will support the legal department in various aspects of legal operations and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to import and export operations.
Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents impacting the import/export business.
Support the legal team in ensuring compliance with all applicable Indian and international trade laws and regulations.
Help manage and maintain legal records, databases, and filing systems.
Liaise with internal departments and external legal counsel as needed.
Assist in the preparation of legal opinions and reports.
Gain exposure to intellectual property rights management and corporate governance.
