Job Description

Role Summary: The Spices Board of India is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Officer with 1-2 years of experience to join our team in Kochi. This role is ideal for individuals holding a Master of Arts degree who are looking to contribute to the legal framework of India's vibrant spice industry. You will be instrumental in ensuring compliance, managing legal documentation, and supporting the Board's regulatory functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to the spice trade and Board operations.

Conduct legal research and provide analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and policies affecting the Indian spice industry.

Support the Legal department in managing litigation, dispute resolution, and compliance matters.

Maintain organized legal records and databases.

Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on legal queries and requirements.

Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory compliances.
