Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Loan Officer with 2-4 years of experience and an LLM degree to join our finance team in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing loan portfolios, assessing creditworthiness, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations within the Consumer, Retail & Hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate loan applications, conduct thorough credit analysis, and assess the financial viability of potential borrowers in the consumer and retail sectors.
- Structure loan proposals, negotiate terms and conditions with clients, and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor loan performance, manage existing loan portfolios, and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on loan portfolios, market trends, and financial performance for senior management.
- Collaborate with internal legal and compliance teams to ensure all loan documentation and processes are legally sound and compliant with Indian financial laws.
- Provide expert advice on financial products and services to business clients, leveraging your LLM knowledge to interpret complex legal and financial clauses.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in financial regulations, consumer protection laws, and industry best practices.
