We are seeking a motivated Marine Engineer with 2-3 years of experience and a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree to join our team in Chandigarh. This role involves contributing to the operational efficiency and technological integration within our aquaculture projects. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical skills to support marine operations, data analysis, and system maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of systems for marine and aquaculture operations.
- Utilize MCA knowledge for data analysis, reporting, and software development related to operational metrics.
- Troubleshoot and maintain marine equipment and related software systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technology in aquaculture practices.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports for management.
- Contribute to process improvements and innovation within the marine engineering domain.
About Coastal Aquaculture Authority
The Coastal Aquaculture Authority (CAA) was established under the Coastal Aquaculture Authority Act, 2005 (Act No. 40 of 2005) for the development of sustainable and responsible aquaculture in the coastal areas of India. It functions as a statutory body under the Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India. The CAA aims to regulate the establishment of aquaculture farms and to prevent pollution of coastal areas and water bodies by aquaculture activities.
