Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Materials / Inventory Analyst with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience to join our dynamic team in Indore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels, managing material flow, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations within our pulp and paper manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures to ensure optimal stock levels for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.

Analyze historical data, market trends, and production schedules to forecast material requirements and anticipate potential shortages or overstock situations.

Monitor and manage the day-to-day flow of materials, ensuring timely procurement, receipt, and distribution.

Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy and identify discrepancies.

Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to streamline material handling processes and reduce lead times.

Utilize ERP systems and inventory management software to track inventory movements, generate reports, and analyze performance metrics.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the inventory management function.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards related to inventory management.
