Mechanic Job Opportunity - FMCG

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and innovative Mechanic with a Master of Design (M.Des) degree and 3-5 years of experience to join our manufacturing operations in Indore. This role will focus on optimizing machinery performance, troubleshooting complex mechanical issues, and contributing design-thinking solutions to enhance operational efficiency and product quality within our FMCG production lines. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical mechanical expertise and a strong design sensibility, enabling them to approach problem-solving from a fresh, user-centric perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of all manufacturing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures, identify root causes, and implement effective repair solutions.

Utilize M.Des knowledge to analyze machine design flaws or inefficiencies and propose innovative design modifications for improved functionality and ergonomics.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement design improvements, safety enhancements, and process optimizations.

Develop and maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair reports, and parts inventory.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance and repair activities.

Contribute to the design and fabrication of custom tooling or jigs to improve manufacturing processes.
