Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Metallurgist with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Bhubaneshwar. The ideal candidate will possess a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree and a strong understanding of metallurgical principles as they apply to water treatment and waste management processes. This role involves ensuring the integrity, performance, and longevity of materials used in our infrastructure and treatment systems. You will contribute to material selection, failure analysis, and quality control, playing a crucial part in the successful delivery of our water and wastewater solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct metallurgical analysis on materials used in water and wastewater treatment equipment, including pipes, valves, and reactors.

Perform failure analysis to identify root causes of material degradation and recommend corrective actions.

Assist in the selection of appropriate materials and alloys for specific applications within water treatment systems, considering factors like corrosion resistance and mechanical strength.

Develop and implement quality control procedures for incoming materials and fabricated components.

Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure adherence to material specifications and standards.

Stay updated with advancements in metallurgical science and relevant industry standards.
