Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Microbiologist with 3-4 years of experience to join our team in Thiruvananthapuram. The ideal candidate will possess an M.Sc in Microbiology and have a strong understanding of microbial testing and control within the textile industry. This role is crucial for ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct microbial analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished textile products.

Develop and validate microbiological testing methods specific to textile applications.

Implement and monitor Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and relevant quality management systems.

Investigate microbial contamination issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Maintain accurate records of all laboratory tests, results, and investigations.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in microbiology and their application in the textile industry.

Collaborate with production, quality control, and R&D teams to address microbial concerns.
