Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Payroll & Transactions Specialist with 2-4 years of experience to join our finance team in Gurgaon. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and related financial transactions within the dynamic education sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of payroll processes, transactional accounting, and a unique perspective brought by an M.Des degree, enabling innovative problem-solving and data visualization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process monthly payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Manage and reconcile payroll-related general ledger accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Handle employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and deductions, providing clear and timely resolutions.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and analysis for management, utilizing data visualization techniques to present complex information clearly.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for payroll and transactional data.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure accurate employee data management impacting payroll.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems, leveraging design thinking principles to identify and implement efficient solutions.
- Process various financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and adherence to internal controls.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Indian payroll laws, tax regulations, and best practices in the education industry.
