Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Phlebotomist with 1-3 years of experience to join our team in Ludhiana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately collecting blood samples from patients, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. This role is crucial for our clinical research operations, requiring precision and adherence to strict protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection from patients of all age groups with accuracy and minimal discomfort.

Prepare patients for blood collection, including explaining procedures and addressing concerns.

Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of collected blood samples according to laboratory and clinical trial protocols.

Maintain a clean and sterile work environment, adhering to infection control standards.

Accurately record patient information and sample details in the laboratory information system (LIS) or other designated systems.

Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and study coordinators.

Assist with other related duties as assigned.
