Physical Design / Layout Engineer (0-1 Yrs) for M.Tech Graduates

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Physical Design / Layout Engineer with 0-1 years of experience, ideally holding an M.Tech degree, to join our team in Kolkata. This role involves contributing to the physical implementation of complex integrated circuits (ICs) and ensuring their successful tape-out. You will work closely with senior engineers on various stages of the physical design flow.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in floorplanning, placement, and routing of digital and mixed-signal circuits.

Perform timing analysis and optimization to meet performance specifications.

Conduct design rule checking (DRC) and layout versus schematic (LVS) verification.

Work on power analysis and optimization (IR drop, EM analysis).

Support in chip integration and top-level layout assembly.

Collaborate with RTL designers and other cross-functional teams to resolve design issues.

Learn and apply advanced physical design techniques and methodologies.

Contribute to documentation and reporting of design activities.
