We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Power Plant Technician with 2-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Vishakhapatnam. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our power generation and distribution systems within our electronics manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a B.Des degree and have a strong understanding of industrial power systems and their maintenance. You will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining all aspects of the power plant to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor power plant equipment, including generators, transformers, switchgear, and control systems.

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on power generation and distribution equipment.

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues within the power plant, implementing effective solutions.

Maintain accurate logs of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and operational parameters.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.

Assist in the installation and commissioning of new power plant equipment.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless power supply to manufacturing lines.

Respond to power-related emergencies and implement necessary corrective actions.
