Pumpman Job Opportunity - Electronics Manufacturing (3-5 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pumpman with a PhD or equivalent in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline to join our advanced electronics manufacturing facility in Vadodara. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of fluid dynamics, material science, and process engineering, coupled with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in managing and optimizing pumping systems within a high-tech manufacturing environment. This role involves ensuring the efficient and safe operation of critical fluid handling systems, contributing to process improvement, and conducting research to enhance system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of all industrial pumping systems, including centrifugal, positive displacement, and specialized pumps.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of fluid flow rates, pressures, and temperatures to optimize system efficiency and minimize energy consumption.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues related to pumping equipment.
- Research and evaluate new pumping technologies and materials to improve process performance, reliability, and safety.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to test and validate new pump designs or modifications for specific manufacturing applications.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards related to fluid handling and hazardous materials.
- Maintain detailed records of system performance, maintenance activities, and inventory of spare parts.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians and operators.
- Perform root cause analysis for any system failures or performance degradation.
