Purchase Executive / Officer - M.Pharma Professionals (3-4 Yrs Exp)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive / Officer with 3-4 years of experience and an M.Pharma qualification to join our dynamic procurement team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the pharmaceutical raw material and packaging material procurement process, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. This role requires a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and excellent negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and select potential suppliers for pharmaceutical raw materials, intermediates, and packaging materials, ensuring they meet quality and regulatory standards.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable contract terms.

Manage the entire procurement cycle, from requisition to order placement, receipt, and payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and actively seek new sourcing opportunities.

Monitor market trends, raw material prices, and supplier performance to identify potential risks and opportunities.

Collaborate with internal departments, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production, to understand material requirements and ensure timely supply.

Ensure all procured materials comply with pharmacopoeial standards and internal quality specifications.

Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost savings.
