Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced QC / Lab Chemist with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will hold a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree and possess a strong understanding of chemical principles and laboratory procedures, particularly within the leather industry. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products through rigorous testing and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive chemical and physical testing on leather raw materials, tanning chemicals, dyes, and finished leather products.

Develop and validate new analytical methods for quality control purposes.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests performed, results obtained, and any deviations from standards.

Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.

Collaborate with production and R&D teams to troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and laboratory best practices.
