QC Microbiologist - Vishakhapatnam

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QC Microbiologist with 2-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Vishakhapatnam. The ideal candidate will possess a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree and a strong understanding of microbiological testing principles within the agrochemical industry. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and safety of our fertilizer and pesticide products through rigorous microbial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to established protocols and SOPs.

Prepare media, reagents, and culture media for microbiological analysis.

Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including incubators, autoclaves, microscopes, and plate readers.

Analyze and interpret microbial data, documenting results accurately in laboratory notebooks and LIMS.

Identify and investigate deviations, out-of-specification results, and contamination issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Contribute to method validation and development for new or improved microbiological tests.

Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and relevant regulatory guidelines.

Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, adhering to safety protocols.

Collaborate with R&D, production, and QA teams to address quality-related issues.
