Quality Assurance and Testing - Other - Iron & Steel Sector - 1-2 Yrs

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance and Testing professional with 1-2 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will have a B.Tech/B.E. degree and a foundational understanding of quality control principles within the iron and steel industry. This role is crucial in ensuring the integrity and reliability of our steel products through rigorous testing and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of quality assurance test plans and test cases.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, performance, and regression testing, on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and document them clearly in defect tracking systems.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to understand product specifications and quality requirements.
- Participate in root cause analysis of quality issues and contribute to corrective action plans.
- Maintain accurate records of testing activities, results, and product quality data.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and company quality policies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
