Reefer Engineer - Oil & Gas (Kolkata) - 2-3 Yrs

We are seeking a motivated Reefer Engineer with 2-3 years of experience and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree to join our team in Kolkata. The Reefer Engineer will be responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of refrigeration systems critical to our oil and gas operations, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met. This role requires a strong understanding of thermodynamic principles, refrigeration cycles, and equipment used in industrial cooling applications within the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the performance of refrigeration units, including chillers, compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and diagnostic testing on all reefer equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in refrigeration systems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies related to refrigeration systems.
- Analyze operational data to optimize system efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and maintenance personnel, to ensure seamless integration of refrigeration systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in industrial refrigeration.
