Risk Modeling (2-3 Yrs Experience)

Agri-Input is seeking a highly analytical and motivated Risk Modeling professional with 2-3 years of experience and a PhD in a quantitative field to join our growing team in Indore. This role will be instrumental in developing and refining risk assessment models for our agricultural operations and financial products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, quantify, and mitigate various risks, ensuring the financial stability and growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, validate, and implement sophisticated statistical and machine learning models for credit risk, market risk, and operational risk within the agricultural sector.
• Analyze large datasets to identify key risk drivers and trends relevant to crop yields, commodity prices, and farmer creditworthiness.
• Conduct back-testing and stress-testing of risk models to ensure their robustness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with business units to understand their risk exposures and provide quantitative insights and recommendations.
• Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations on model performance and risk assessments for senior management.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in risk modeling techniques, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
