Security Engineer / Analyst - Clinical Research / Contract Research (Bangalore) - 1-3 Yrs

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Security Engineer / Analyst with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a B.Sc. degree and a strong understanding of security principles within the clinical research and contract research environment. You will play a crucial role in safeguarding our sensitive data, systems, and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and incidents, perform initial analysis, and escalate as necessary.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security controls and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
- Support the development and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Participate in security awareness training programs for employees.
- Respond to security incidents, including investigation, containment, and recovery activities.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of operations.
- Maintain documentation of security configurations, incidents, and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies relevant to the pharmaceutical and contract research industry.
