Role Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing community outreach programs, supporting employee well-being, and contributing to the social responsibility initiatives of our pulp and paper operations in Bangalore. This role is suitable for individuals who do not require post-graduation but possess a strong understanding of social work principles and practical experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies to foster positive relationships with local communities surrounding our manufacturing facilities.
- Organize and facilitate workshops, awareness campaigns, and skill development programs for employees and community members.
- Provide counseling and support services to employees facing personal or work-related challenges.
- Collaborate with HR and management to ensure a safe and supportive work environment.
- Assist in the planning and execution of corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects, including environmental conservation and education initiatives.
- Conduct needs assessments and surveys to identify areas for social intervention and program improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of all social work activities and prepare regular reports for management.
- Liaise with local NGOs, government agencies, and community leaders to build partnerships and leverage resources.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant social welfare laws and regulations.
