Strategic Risk - Water Treatment / Waste Management Sector (3-4 Yrs)

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Strategic Risk professional to join our dynamic team in Guwahati. This role is crucial for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks that could impact our strategic objectives within the water treatment and waste management sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in risk management principles and a keen understanding of the operational and market dynamics of the environmental services industry. This position is ideal for an individual with 3-4 years of experience and a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree, bringing a data-driven approach to risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic risk management frameworks and policies tailored to the water treatment and waste management sectors.

Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, identifying potential threats and opportunities across operational, financial, regulatory, and reputational domains.

Analyze data using statistical and analytical tools to identify trends and potential risk exposures; leveraging MCA skills for data interpretation.

Design and propose risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

Monitor the effectiveness of risk management strategies and recommend adjustments as needed.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed risk management into strategic decision-making processes.

Prepare regular risk reports for senior management, highlighting key risks, their potential impact, and mitigation status.

Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks relevant to the water and waste management sectors in India.
