Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Subject Matter Expert with 1-3 years of experience and an M.Sc degree to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of leather science, material properties, and manufacturing processes within the footwear industry. You will be instrumental in providing expert technical guidance, supporting product development, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct in-depth research and analysis on raw materials, especially leather, to identify optimal properties and applications.
* Provide expert technical consultation to R&D, design, and production teams on material selection, processing techniques, and performance characteristics.
* Develop and validate testing methodologies for leather and other footwear components to ensure compliance with quality and industry standards.
* Troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to material performance and suggest corrective actions.
* Stay abreast of the latest advancements in leather technology, sustainable materials, and footwear manufacturing processes.
* Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development from concept to launch.
* Assist in quality control initiatives and ensure adherence to product specifications.
